The Be POD range of self-compressive hindfoot screws was designed for osteosynthesis of the hindfoot, producing a stable, reliable and easy to perform osteosynthesis.

Indications

The Be POD range of hindfoot screws can be used in a large number of indications :

• Medio and hindfoot osteosynthesis, fixation of mono or bicortical osteotomies,
• Stabilisation of a wide range of fractures (e.g.: calcaneum, talar, middle-foot...),
• Subtalar, talocrural arthrodeses...
  

Products characteristics

Cannulated screw with a differential thread, self-compressive, with secure pin guidance (Ø 1.8 mm) making controlled compression possible.

Dimensions : 14 sizes, from length 45 mm to 110 mm
Thread Ø 5.4 mm – Head Ø 7.2 mm – Ame Ø 3.0 mm

Characteristics :

• Self-tapping threaded head for complete embedding ;
  
• Smooth part variable depending on the length of the screw, guaranteeing considerable self-compression and a quality fixation for the osteotomy.
• Differential thread to increase compression

Material : Made from a titanium alloy (TA6V). These screws are biocompatible.
Anodisation of the screws is a factor that helps implant them and also makes them easier to remove if necessary.
The screws are delivered in a sterile, single unit pack, satisfying all the strictest traceability standards.
